What Is Jack Attack?
Jack Attack is Bowls Australia's fast-format introduction to lawn bowls. Each team has three players who bowl two bowls each per end. Ends are timed, scoring is simplified and games finish in under an hour — perfect for busy weeknight entertainment.

Thursday Night Competition
Casegus runs Jack Attack every Thursday during the season (March–September) with a summer social series in October–February. Registration opens at 5.30pm for a 6.00pm start.
Season Series
March–September weekly competition with cumulative ladder points. Top teams qualify for the Jack Attack Grand Final in September.
Summer Social
October–February relaxed Thursday sessions without ladder points. Ideal for trying Jack Attack for the first time.
Fast-Format Action
Timed ends keep the pace high and the energy up. Teams rotate rinks each week, ensuring fresh matchups and plenty of social interaction between ends.
Thursday Night Social
After play, teams gather in the bistro for drink specials and leaderboard updates. Jack Attack has become one of our most popular midweek social traditions.
Team Registration
Register a team of three at the bowls office or by phone. Individual players without a team can register as fill-ins and will be placed with a team on the night.
- Form a team of three (mixed teams welcome).
- Register at reception by Wednesday 5.00pm or from 5.30pm on the night.
- Pay $10 per player green fee ($8 for Premium Rewards members).
- Arrive by 5.45pm for briefing and rink allocation.
Prizes & Leaderboard
Weekly winners receive drink vouchers and ladder points. Season-end prizes include trophyware, cash awards and a champion team dinner at The Meridian. The Grand Final in September crowns the Casegus Jack Attack champions.

- Monthly leading team: complimentary barefoot bowls session.
- Season champions: trophy, $200 cash and Meridian dinner for six.
