Championship Disciplines
Club championships are contested across four disciplines, with separate events for men, women and mixed where entries permit.
- Singles — One player per rink. Best-of-three sets format in early rounds.
- Pairs — Two players per team. Round-robin pool followed by knockout finals.
- Triples — Three players per team. Popular mixed category with strong entries.
- Fours — Four players per team. Culminates on finals day in November.
2026 Schedule (August–November)
- August — Singles championships (men's, women's, mixed). Round one from 10 August.
- September — Pairs championships. Draw published 25 August.
- October — Triples championships. Mixed triples final on 24 October.
- November — Fours championships and Finals Day (15 November). All remaining finals.
Competitive Excellence
Our championships attract the region's strongest club players. Greens are prepared to pennant standard with umpires appointed for knockout rounds and finals.
Championship Legacy
The Casegus Hawks BPL22 triumph reflects the depth of talent in our championship programme. Many Hawks players honed their skills in club championships before representing at state and national level.
Prize Pool
The 2026 club championship prize pool exceeds $12,000 across all disciplines. Winners receive cash prizes, trophyware and perpetual honours recorded on the club honour board in the bowls pavilion.
- Singles champions: $800 (men's/women's), $600 (mixed).
- Pairs champions: $600 per team.
- Triples champions: $500 per team.
- Fours champions: $400 per team plus perpetual trophy.
Perpetual Trophies
Casegus maintains a proud tradition of perpetual trophies dating to 1988. Winners hold the trophy for twelve months and receive a keeper plate. Notable trophies include the O'Brien Singles Shield, Tran Pairs Cup, Whitmore Mixed Triples Trophy and the McLeod Fours Perpetual.
